graduate school options
I have taught across multiple graduate school programs and have been exposed to the many different paths toward licensure. I received my post-baccalaureate in psychology, and my masters and doctorate in social work. Since then, I have supervised students from all sorts of programs throughout the country. I have a keen sense of the different curriculums and programs available, as well as which have a queer-affirming lens. I am also familiar with licensing practices and how this might inform you decision-making. If you would like to discuss next steps in your career, please set up a time to talk.
Many people reach out about how to find the best therapist or the best form of treatment for them. I understand many theoretical orientations and effective ways to find a good therapist match, and I would be happy to talk this over with you. Whether you are looking for a neuro-affirming therapist, a queer and trans affirming therapist, or a path towards formal diagnosis that doesn't provide further traumatization, I can help you find a good match and determine your next best steps toward mental health.
opening a private practice
I have coached dozens of practitioners in how to set up their private practices. Whether it is maneuvering the intricacies of Psychology Today, or setting yourself up for success with taxes, I have been there. If you are ready to take this big step in your career, feel free to set up a coaching session. We'll discuss the three to five most important things you can do to make sure you fill your caseload and price your services in a way that reflects your needs and your community.
Maybe you would like to discuss a TikTok in more depth. Or, maybe you're looking for readings and resources for your professional development, or your personal mental health journey. Whatever it may be, I'd love to talk with you!
